Our Mission
We are in the process of establishing the Northern Lights Patient Assistance Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping all New Hampshire residents with costs related to mental health care — regardless of the provider, facility, or service they choose.
Our goal is to remove financial barriers that prevent people from getting the mental health support they need. Assistance may include help with medication costs, transportation to and from appointments, therapy and counseling fees, and other mental-health-related expenses.
Who We Serve
This fund is for all New Hampshire residents — not just patients of Northern Lights Psychiatry. Whether you receive care at a private practice, community mental health center, hospital, or anywhere else, our goal is to make sure cost is never the reason someone goes without care.

For our own patients, we are committed to making the care we provide affordable for everyone. If you are struggling with the cost of your care, please do not hesitate to reach out. We offer reduced rates and payment plan arrangements on a case-by-case basis — just ask.

Your donation helps The Northern Lights Patient Assistance Fund reduce financial barriers that can prevent New Hampshire residents from accessing needed mental health care.
Contributions may be used to assist eligible individuals with co-pays, transportation, treatment-related expenses, and other barriers to receiving mental health services. Assistance is based on individual need, available funding, and an independent review process and is not limited to patients of Northern Lights Psychiatry.

The Northern Lights Patient Assistance Fund is a New Hampshire nonprofit corporation. 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt recognition is pending. Donations should not be represented as tax-deductible unless and until applicable IRS requirements are satisfied.
Current Status
In ProgressThe Northern Lights Patient Assistance Fund is not yet active. We are currently working through the legal process of obtaining nonprofit approval and are in the early stages of building our organization.
Raising funds for legal filing
We have not yet submitted our nonprofit paperwork. We are currently raising enough funds to cover the attorney fees required to file for nonprofit status.
Accepting seed donations
We are currently accepting seed donations to help cover the startup and legal costs of establishing the fund.
Building our board of directors
We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to serve on our board of directors and help guide the fund's mission.
